A man has sparked conversations online after sharing relationship advice urging people to prioritise kindness when choosing a life partner.
In a viral video circulating on social media, the man explained that relationships are often tested during difficult moments, and having a compassionate partner can make a major difference.
According to him, people preparing for marriage should look beyond physical attraction and other temporary qualities, and instead focus on the character of the person they intend to build a future with.
“When you are ready to settle down, choose a kind person,” he said.
He explained that even during disagreements or challenging periods, a kind-hearted partner is more likely to handle situations with care rather than intentionally causing emotional harm.
“Even when the house is falling apart, they still know not to do things that is going to hurt you. Even when it’s your fault, choose a kind person,” he added.
The message quickly gained attention online, with many users agreeing that kindness is an important but sometimes overlooked quality in relationships.
