Nollywood actress Biodun Okeowo has warmed hearts on social media after sharing a touching video of the special birthday surprise she organised for her husband.
The actress, who recently celebrated her husband’s new age, transformed their bedroom with flowers, balloons and thoughtful decorations before presenting him with several gifts, including perfumes, a wristwatch, cash and a heartfelt love letter.
Explaining how she pulled off the surprise, Biodun revealed that she deliberately asked her husband to attend church alone so she could have enough time to prepare everything without raising suspicion.
According to her, the plan almost failed because her husband returned from church and repeatedly tried to enter the room where she was setting up the surprise. She jokingly said she had to block the door as if she was guarding a hidden treasure because his curiosity wouldn’t let him stay away.
Biodun also disclosed that she handled the entire decoration herself despite the challenges of sourcing the materials in the United States. Proud of her efforts, she asked fans to rate the surprise while adding that all the decoration items she used are available through her TikTok Shop.
The emotional video has since drawn admiration from fans, with many praising the actress for her thoughtful gesture and the love she continues to show her husband.
