“You don see small money, your voice no dey shake again” – Davido fires back at Edo Governor Okpebholo (Video)

Afrobeats superstar Davido has continued his war of words with Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo following the governor’s recent remarks about his uncle, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke.

The singer has been vocal in defending Adeleke after Okpebholo mocked the Osun governor, suggesting that he is more interested in dancing before taking action.

Davido subsequently responded by sharing Okpebholo’s WAEC result online without adding a caption, a move that sparked reactions across social media.

However, the music star did not stop there.

Speaking at a recent rally in Osun State, Davido directly addressed the Edo governor and questioned his comments about Adeleke’s dancing.

He also suggested that Okpebholo’s voice had become more confident since gaining access to money, while criticising what he described as the governor’s manner of speaking.

“Mr Monday Okpebholo, you don see small money, your voice no dey shake again abi? You’re talking about my governor because he dances. Is there anything wrong with dancing? You’re busy talking anyhow.”

Davido has remained actively involved in the political discussions surrounding Osun State, particularly in support of his uncle as the state prepares for its governorship election.

The singer has repeatedly urged the people of Osun to protect their right to choose their preferred candidate while calling for a peaceful election.
