Social media activist VeryDarkMan has reacted to reports that he lost about 13,000 Instagram followers amid the ongoing controversy surrounding the P-Square family dispute.

The activist addressed the alleged drop in his followers while speaking about the backlash he has faced over his involvement in the ongoing saga involving Peter and Paul Okoye.

VeryDarkMan dismissed the reported loss, insisting that losing followers would not affect his influence or stop him from speaking his mind.

According to him, he has experienced similar backlash during previous controversies involving music star Wizkid and the late singer Mohbad.

He claimed that despite attempts by critics to silence or discredit him during those periods, he eventually became even more influential.

Reacting to the latest development, VeryDarkMan said he would not be bothered even if millions of people decided to unfollow him.

He said:

“I don’t care! What are the 13,000 people doing for me? 2 million should go; I don’t care.

“You have done this before during the time of Wizkid. If one million no comot, I will be surprised.

“If you people are not able to beat me, I become more powerful and more influential. It happened during the time of Mohbad, all of you against me and I became more influential.

“All this one wey una dey gather, if e no work, I’ll become more powerful.”

His reaction comes amid the heated online debate surrounding the P-Square controversy, with VeryDarkMan facing criticism from some social media users over his position on the matter.

Despite the backlash, the activist appears unfazed, maintaining that losing followers will not change his stance.
