Nigerian skit maker and streamer Carter Efe has shared his excitement after visiting the United Kingdom for the first time, comparing his experience abroad with the state of infrastructure and development in Nigeria.
The content creator, who recently traveled to the UK, has been giving his fans glimpses of his stay through livestreams.
Speaking about his experience, Carter Efe expressed amazement at some of the things he encountered, claiming that certain facilities and infrastructure in the UK were things he had previously only seen on television.
He also lamented what he described as Nigeria’s poor infrastructure and slow pace of development.
According to him, Nigerians are living in a country that is still far behind in terms of development.
“For those of una wey never travel, UK na better place o. Nigeria still dey 1996.”
Carter Efe further said:
“They’re using us in Nigeria, no good infrastructures. Mago mago na so we just dey live for Nigeria.”
The streamer said he was filled with excitement as he experienced the UK, adding that some of the things he saw were completely new to him.
He also expressed gratitude to Afrobeats superstar Davido, whom he credited with helping make his trip abroad possible.
“As I just dey enter UK, the way I just dey get joy. The things I saw in the UK, I only see it on TV.”
He concluded:
“Thanks to God and Davido. If no be Davido I no sure say I go go oyibo place for my life.”
