Nigerian singer Mr Eazi and his wife, Temi Otedola, have sparked reactions online after sharing details about the unusual preparations they are making ahead of the arrival of their first child.
The celebrity couple revealed that they have been consulting several medical experts while considering different options for where their baby would be born.
During a recent interview, they disclosed that nine doctors are currently involved in monitoring and advising them throughout the pregnancy journey.
Temi questioned the arrangement during the conversation, asking why they needed so many doctors.
“Why exactly do we see nine doctors?” she asked.
Mr Eazi explained that the decision was not because of any emergency but because they wanted to explore different medical opinions and options while they had not yet decided on a country for the delivery.
“Nine doctors because we didn’t know where we were gonna be. Fine, which country? Yeah, we didn’t know which country we were gonna decide to,” he said.
The singer revealed that one of the places he considered was Japan, explaining that he had personal interest in the country.
“I wanted Japan because I wanted Japan,” he added.
Mr Eazi also revealed that he had gone further by researching Japanese names for their unborn child.
However, Temi jokingly rejected the idea, making it clear she was not convinced about giving their baby a Japanese name.
“By the way, he’s also been looking at Japanese names and I’m like no, absolutely not,” she said.
The couple’s comments have generated reactions from fans, with many sharing opinions about their international lifestyle and approach to preparing for parenthood.
