Popular content creator Elizabeth Amadu, better known as Jarvis, has explained why she shaved off her hair ahead of her wedding to Peller, dismissing speculation that the decision was connected to tribal or cultural rites.

The newlywed addressed the controversy in a video shared after her wedding, explaining that she shaved her hair simply because she wanted her bridal hairstyle to look perfect.

“I wanted my installation to hit”

According to Jarvis, her hairstylist advised her to shave her hair because her natural hair made it difficult for her frontal installation to sit properly.

She explained that despite the efforts of different hairstylists, the hair around her front had always made it difficult to achieve the desired look.

Jarvis said:

“The wedding is finally over and I am so super happy. I’m proud of myself and my husband.

“For those of you that are complaining about me barbing my hair, talking tribalistic blah blah blah, shut up.

“I literally took down my hair because I wanted my installation to hit. That is what my hairstylist wanted.

“I have stubborn hair, so most of my hair at my frontal has not been sitting pretty. Not because the stylists are not doing a good job. They are doing a good job. Just that my hair is stubborn.

“She literally took her time and told me, ‘Please Jarvis, can you do this?’ I was like, ‘Why not?’ It’s my wedding and I want to look pretty as a bride.”

Jarvis added that she was satisfied with the final result, noting that the hairstyle turned out exactly as she had hoped.

“So that’s why I did that. And I know that yes, the whole installation hit.”

Jarvis appreciates her wedding team

The content creator also expressed gratitude to the people who contributed to making her wedding memorable.

She appreciated her hairstylist, makeup team and fashion designer for helping her achieve a look she said she never imagined.

Speaking about her wedding dress, she said:

“Ms. Prudence, you brought out the robo robo in me. I didn’t know that’s what they had planned out for me. I just saw my dress and I was like, seriously, thank you.”

“I’ll be in the movies acting like an AI robot”

Jarvis also revealed that she intends to pursue acting while maintaining the AI robot character that helped make her popular online.

She said the dream is still alive and continues to grow, adding that she hopes to bring the character to the big screen.

“I’ll be in the movies acting like an AI robot that I am. That’s my dream. It’s still there, it’s expanding and it’s going to be the best and the greatest.
